Message From Dr. A. Nathan Young
Dear friends,
As summer approaches and we prepare for our annual summer camp, we are excited about yet another opportunity to impact our community by helping children. We have already begun to make preparations and are anxiously awaiting and anticipating an amazing summer.
Parents continue to remind us how important it is to have a safe, clean, fun, and affordable learning environment for their children while they are at work during the summer months. They are also grateful for what the kids are learning. These things are not possible without your help!
There are young adults whom you’ve helped us to impact who are grateful as well. One of the kids who was raised by a single mother and was a part of our camp growing up recently graduated from medical school. She appreciates your investment in her life!
Please join me as we become a part of the success story for more children in our community.
The cost for eight weeks of camp is $1000 per child. We are planning for about 60 children a day. We are currently in need of sponsors for these children. We ask that you sponsor one or more campers for the summer. You can also sponsor a portion of camp for a child. You will find options for sponsorship below.
Your contribution is tax-deductible. A large portion of this funding will be used to employ teen aged children and give them interview and resume training, Bible training, exposure to college campuses, a life simulation exercise, and more!
This summer, we will impact 60 more young men and women who did not come from the best circumstances but who, because of your contribution, have the tools they need to change our community for the better generationally; it’s worth it! Any help that you can give to these children will be greatly appreciated.
